Suicidal Thoughts

Suicidal thoughts do not only manifest themselves in “I want to die” idealizations.

Suicidal thoughts manifest most often as:

-I feel trapped and alone.

-I need to escape this life.

-My life has no meaning.

-I am worthless.

-I will never get better.

-My pain is too much to bear.

-I am always a burden.

-My thoughts hold me back.

-I have no future.

– There is nothing to look forward to.

-I can’t change.

-I’m incapable of being loved.

Being someone or knowing someone who has these suicidal thoughts does not necessarily mean suicide will be attempted. They are a means of trying to cope with a mindset that feels relentlessly hopeless. It is crucial to express and not continuously internalize the lingering funereal feelings. Please understand how imperative it is to talk about, discuss, and explore any and all mental chains.
